- 🎃 Cheer Festivities: Get ready for our annual Cheer Halloween Costume Games this weekend! Our amazing cheer athletes will be continuing their tradition of wearing themed Halloween costumes while they cheer on our football teams. It's always a blast to see their creativity! Come on out, root for our athletes (in uniform and in costume!), and help us make this fun experience a spirited success!
- 📹 Week #8 Highlight Reel: We are a little behind on our Week #8 Highlight Reel creation. Expect it some time later this week Please continue to tag @srvthunderbirds in any photos or videos you take at games and we'll do our best to include them. We post weekly video highlights on our Instagram. So if you see a big play or big cheer, send it our way!
- 👕 Need replacement T-Bird Football Athlete or Coach Gear? We've been hearing from a few athletes and coaches on lost T-Bird gear. We added a few replacement options to our store. Note: These are not identical material, but have the same design. Enjoy! Coach Hoodie, Coach T-Shirt, Youth Hoodie
- 🙌 Help support those in need: The Monte Vista Youth Homes Club is hosting a student-run clothing drive on Sunday, October 26th (during our last Champion regular season HOME games) in the MV parking lot from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. All donations will go to the Youth Homes Thrift Shop in Pleasant Hill, which funds enrichment programs for Bay Area foster youth. Bring your gently used adult-size clothing, shoes, purses/handbags, jewelry, books/games, and more! See the flyer below for more details and thank you for your support!

🏡 WEEK #9: Last Regular Season Games!
Our final regular season Premier games will be at Hayward High School on Sunday, October 26th with WHITE game jerseys. Champion teams will be HOME at Monte Vista on Sunday, October 26th with NAVY game jerseys.
PINKTOBER: Throughout October, T-Bird athletes will be accented with pink for the month of October to bring Breast Cancer awareness. Please show your support at our October games by wearing pink to our upcoming games. Looking for T-Birds Pinktober Merch and Gear? Shop our T-Birds Merch Store any time!
📅 Week #9 Games
12 Volunteer Hours are required per family to receive your volunteer check deposit back at the end of season. All positions are listed on the POINT App: Volunteer Sign-up
🏆 Playoff Games
Playoff opponents schedules will be sent after Week #9 games conclude during the week of 10/27. The Playoffs are knock-out format: Lose and out. Win and keep going. Playoff teams, times, and locations will be set based on end of year standings. Note: Not all teams will make the playoffs.
- Playoff First Round: 11/1 OR 11/2 (TBD)
- Playoff Semi-Finals: 11/8 OR 11/9 (TBD)
- 🦃 Turkey Bowl Championship: 11/15 OR 11/16 (TBD)
🏈 End of Season Equipment Return: 12/6
As our season wraps up after Playoffs, it’s time to collect all football equipment. We will send more information about time, location, and equipment logistics in the next few weeks. If you cannot attend on 12/6, please arrange for a coach or teammate to return your equipment on your behalf. We take great pride in our program and our equipment—it helps keep our players safe and represents our T-Bird pride on and off the field. Please treat this return process with care and respect by cleaning and returning all items on time. We’ll also need volunteers to help check in and organize equipment on return day.
🍽️ End of Season Banquet - SAVE THE DATE: 12/7
We are excited to invite you to the 2025 T-Birds Cheer & Football End-of-Season Ceremony as we come together to celebrate another incredible year of teamwork, dedication, and T-Bird spirit! The celebration will be held on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, at the San Ramon Marriott, located at 2600 Bishop Drive, San Ramon, CA. Doors will open at 4:30 PM, and the ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM. Complimentary parking is available on-site, located behind Target.
This special evening will include dinner, awards, heartfelt speeches, and a few surprises as we recognize our amazing athletes, coaches, and supporters. Guests will enjoy a delicious meal and dessert. It’s sure to be a memorable night filled with laughter, appreciation, and community.
Please remember, this is not a drop-off event—all athletes must be accompanied by an adult. The dress code for the evening is dress to impress, so come ready to shine and celebrate in style. Ticket purchase information coming soon!

🏉 Oaks Rugby: The 2025-2026 Oaks Rugby Season is ready to kick off! The Oaks Rugby Club's mission is to provide youth in the Tri-Valley qualified instruction in rugby fundamentals and to engender a life-long love of the sport. Teams of varying levels of competition, from recreational (everyone welcome, all play in games) to highly competitive (highest-skilled players selected to play in games) are offered. Season runs December to March.
🥍 Scorpion Lacrosse: Football + Lacrosse = Perfect Combo Football builds power, toughness, and field vision. Lacrosse sharpens speed, agility, and hand–eye coordination. Together, they create multi-sport athletes who dominate in both arenas. Season runs February to May.
