šŸ“°Ā Quick Shoutouts

  • šŸ“ Week #1 Wrap-up: Our T-Bird Football & Cheer athletes had an excellent first weekend at Monte Vista. Thank you to the Fremont Firebirds and the East County Lions for making the trip this weekend.
  • šŸ• Monte Vista Snack Shack: We want to send a HUGE thank you to the MV Athletic Boosters for helping run the Snack Shack at this weekend's games. It was amazing having the Snack Shack presence and created an awesome home game experience for our families.
  • šŸ™Œ T-Bird Volunteers: It truly takes a village to run T-Bird Home games with a program of our scale. We had over 100+ T-Bird volunteers this weekend and wanted to say THANK YOU for your support. We know it's not easy to take time out of your weekends, and genuinely appreciate how you helped these T-Bird athletes feel supported. We also want to thank Nolan, our wonderful booth announcer, game MC, and music coordinator. Nolan definitely brought the T-Bird hype from the stadium booth!
  • šŸ“· Game Photos: Please continue to tag @srvthunderbirdsĀ in any weekend photos you took this weekend. We would love to repost!

⛔ Field Policies

We love the energy that our T-Bird families and (future) Jr. T-Birds bring to our Home games. During our Home games this weekend, we observed several unsupervised children roaming the Monte Vista track and sidelines while games were in progress. Some were following the game action, some had skateboards, a few were riding e-Bikes. These children need to be in the stands and behind the fence line going forward.

Please - this is a reminder that only badged T-Bird Coaches, T-Bird athletes, and confirmed volunteers are approved for field access. There also can never be e-bikes, scooters, or other vehicles anywhere near the playing field or track. They need to be parked outside of the Monte Vista stadium. This applies to both Home and Away games. This is for the safety of our athletes, our game officials, the opposing team,Ā and those young children. We will be monitoring at our next Home Games on 9/13 and 9/14.
