T-Bird Practice Week #1 (What to bring/wear)

🏈 Football: What to Wear (Week of 7/14)
Location: Monte Vista Practice Fields

What to Wear/Bring

  • Helmet with tethered mouthguard
  • Muscle shirt (given at T-Bird Day)
  • Practice Jersey (given at T-Bird Day)
  • Shorts
  • Football Cleats
  • Water Bottle (T-Bird one distributed at T-Bird Day or one-gallon jug)
  • No Shoulder Pads or Integrated Pad Pants until players reach 10 conditioning hours (2 hours each x 5 practices). If they miss a practice, not to worry, they can make up the next night. We will take attendance nightly until all players reach their 5 practices.




FOOTBALL ATHLETES: Please arrive at the Monte Vista Practice Fields on night one. Coaches will direct athletes to their fields after the initial opening speech.


 

📣 Cheer: What to Wear (Week of 7/14)
Location: Monte Vista Commons

Things to Know

  • Premier Cheer: Tuesday, 7/15 and Thursday, 7/17 (6pm - 8pm)
  • Champion Cheer: Wednesday, 7/16 (6pm - 8pm)
  • What to Wear: Please wear cheer/tennis shoes, comfortable pants/bike shorts, tank/shirt, hair in a pony tail, bring poms, and water to every practice.
  • Must be NSID-verified to participate in practice. 

 

📝 Missed T-Bird Day?
You will be able to get your athlete's equipment and turn in your $600 volunteer and $400 equipment (football only) checks before practices the week of 7/14 (5pm-5:30pm nightly). Please complete your NSIDs if you have not already (NSID Certification instructions). Note: Expect wait time, please plan accordingly.
