🏈 Sunday, June 1st (8pm)
Deadline for last name on Football Practice Jersey

As a reminder, if you are not registered for the 2025 season and would like your athlete's name on the back of their practice jersey, please register by this Sunday, June 1st, 2025 (end of day). If you are already registered for the football season, no action is needed. If you register after June 1st, not to worry. Your athlete will still receive a T-Birds practice jersey, just without their last name on the back.

Football Conditioning Camp #2
Location: Monte Vista Practice Fields

Camp #2 begins Monday, June 9th at the Monte Vista High School Practice Fields. Register here: 2025 Football Conditioning Camp Registration We can't wait to see you there. Our T-Bird Coaches and the amazing staff at @realnealsports will be there leading each night. If you are interested in coaching football for the 2025 Season, we would love to have you come out and observe or help for T-Birds Camp #2. Please send us an email to confirm interest.

✅ Monday, June 30th (8pm)
National Sports ID (NSID) Certification deadline

If your T-Bird athlete is not NSID-certified by June 30th (i.e., ✅ Green Checkmark appears by their name on the NSID website with 2026 Expiration), they will not be issued equipment during T-Birds Day (July 12th) and cannot practice. Do not wait to complete this.

New in 2025: We will not offer an onsite physician this season during T-Bird Day (July 12th). This is because our NSID certifications need to be complete by June 30th. This means you must make an appointment with your physician to submit the medical clearance form on our certification instructions:

1. Headshot photo of child.
2. Birth Certificate, Passport OR State Issued ID.
3. Report Card, Progress Report or some school document that shows the child’s current grade he/she is in.
4. Medical release from your family physician, dated 2025 (medical form template).
5. Ensure you e-sign the EBYFC Agreement to Participate waiver.
6. Pay the $12 NSID recertification fee.

🇺🇲 Saturday, July 4th
T-Birds @ Danville 4th of July parade

Each year, T-Birds Cheer proudly performs during the Danville 4th of July parade. It's a moment where our T-Bird kids can have fun, pass out candy to parade watchers, and perform alongside their friends. We'll be sending more information out about this in the coming weeks for both Cheer and Football families (PW Level and up). Stay tuned!

T-Bird Day: Football & Cheer
Location: Monte Vista High School

Note: National Sports ID (NSID) verification must be complete and in a ✅ verified state, expiring in 2026, before picking up equipment, practice jersey, or other gear during T-Bird Day. Also, no equipment will be issued without a volunteer check. No exceptions.

T-Bird Day is the official start of our season for T-Bird Football & Cheer on July 12th, 2025. Attendance is mandatory as it is the day when the participants and parents will meet coaches, as well as the board. The event will be held at Monte Vista High School.

Don’t forget your checkbook as deposits are required for the football gear and volunteer hours. The checks will be filed and returned to you at the end of the season once the equipment is returned and the volunteer hours have been fulfilled. These checks will not be cashed prior to the end of the season, unless you selected 'Opt Out of Volunteer Hours' during registration. All families must provide volunteer (Football & Cheer) and equipment (Football) checks during T-Bird Day.

☀️ Monday, July 14th (6pm - 8pm)
T-Birds Football: First Day of Practice
Location: Monte Vista Practice Fields

During the first week of practice, T-Bird Football athletes will be in helmets, practice jerseys (t-shirt underneath), shorts, and football cleats. No lower pads or pad pants should be worn during the first week of practice. All athletes must complete a league-mandated 10 hours (5 practices x 2 hours per night) of conditioning in helmets. If your T-Bird athlete misses a practice in their first week, they will need to make up those hours at the next practice before they move to full pads. T-Bird athletes must have a tethered mouthpiece for their helmet and bring one gallon of water to hydrate.

📣 Tuesday, July 15th (6pm - 8pm)
First Day of T-Birds Premier Cheer Practice
Location: Monte Vista Commons (Near School Cafeteria)

This will be the first practice for the Premier Cheer divisions (2x practice per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays). More details to follow from your Cheer Coaches in the coming weeks.

📣 Wednesday, July 16th (6pm - 8pm)
First Day of T-Birds Champion Cheer Practice
Location: Monte Vista Commons (Near School Cafeteria)

This will be the first practice for the Champion Cheer divisions (1x practice per week on Wednesdays). More details to follow from your Cheer Coaches in the coming weeks.

📰 News and Shout Outs

🏈 Spread the word: T-Birds Jr. Pee Wee!

We're still in need of Jr. Pee Wee players (aged 6-8) for our upcoming 2025 T-Birds Season. Please look through your social networks, flag football teams, school friends, and neighbors. We want to be able to field a Jr. Pee Wee Football team this season and need your support. With our June Conditioning Camp, it's an excellent opportunity for new athletes to experience conditioning and drills with our coaches. Here's a couple Jr. Pee Wee Instagram posts if your friends are interested to see what the pace of play looks like for younger levels (Post #1, Post #2). Thank you for continuing to spread the word!

✏️ Are you registered for the 2025 T-Birds Football Season?

We're seeing high demand for our T-Bird JV and Varsity Football programs. Whether you are a new or returning T-Bird athlete, please ensure you've signed up for the 2025 season. We expect to reach our JV and Varsity registration capacity in the next week before starting to waitlist. We expect Pee Wee registration to fill up by early June before waitlist. We expect Jr. Pee Wee to remain open through end June: 2025 Football Season Registration

👍 Have your own Football Helmet? Please read.

During T-Birds Football registration, if you selected "I own my own helmet" (optional), your helmet must be up-to-date and certified with the T-Birds Athletic Director. If you haven't already done so, please send an email to srvtbirds@gmail.com with your athlete's name, year purchased, and a photo of your helmet's rear certification sticker. Player-owned helmets must be Navy in color.
