2026 T-Birds Registration is filling FAST!

Happy Friday, T-Bird Families!

We wanted to extend a warm welcome to all the new T-Bird families who already signed up for the 2026 Football & Cheer season! We are truly excited for you to join the T-Bird family and FLY HIGH with us this season. Please find all past T-Bird newsletters on the News section of our website.

🚨 2026 Registration is FILLING FAST!

T-Birds registration is OPEN as of Sunday, March 1st. We expect waitlists across all Football & Cheer levels as the month end approaches, so please register while the March early bird discount is still active! As an organization, we set Division capacities to better serve all T-Bird athletes with the right equipment, field space, and coaching support. While not a guarantee, please know we do our best to activate athletes from waitlists to Division rosters as registration positions open. We also encourage Football athletes to sign up for our T-Birds Conditioning Camp in May.

As of Friday, March 13th, our T-Bird registration Division capacity is as follows:




✅ Action Needed: National Sports ID (NSID) Certification

Registered Football & Cheer Athletes: If you registered for the 2026 season, you are required to be certified by June 30th, 2026 to participate this season. This means you must make an appointment with your physician to submit the medical clearance form and follow NSID instructions on our certification page. 

On our Certification page, you must join the team link for your T-Bird athlete's specific team and certify them with the NSID process. Football athletes: Please join the age group you registered your child for even if you plan to have them try out for an Older/Lighter position later. The ✅ Green Checkmark will appear by your athlete's name once they are fully verified. NSID must be renewed every Football & Cheer season.

Do not wait to complete this. Your athlete will not be issued equipment in July and will not be able to practice if their NSID is incomplete.

 

🏈 Reconditioned T-Bird Football Helmets have ARRIVED!

Every off-season, T-Birds helmets undergo a multi-step overhaul to ensure they are "game-ready".

🧠 Why this matters: For a youth athlete, a helmet is the first line of defense. Over the course of a season, helmets endure heat, impact, and wear that can subtly degrade their protective qualities. By investing in this factory-level reconditioning—and combining it with our aggressive 7-to-8-year replacement cycle—we ensure that no T-Bird ever takes the field in compromised gear. It provides parents peace of mind knowing that the equipment protecting their child is not just "used," but scientifically verified to perform. Please read more on our T-Birds Safety page.



🗺️ EBYFC Organization Locations

For new T-Bird families, we frequently get asked where they can expect to travel to throughout the EBYFC season. On our Football page, we outlined a helpful map of Bay Area locations where each EBYFC organization resides and plays their home games. Each D1 organization can potentially play at the Division locations on this page. Each D2 organization can potentially play at the Division locations on this page. Because T-Birds fields both D1 and D2 teams, each team should expect to travel to the locations for their respective Division level.

Schedule FAQs

FAQ #1: When will you know the T-Birds 2026 Game Schedule?
We expect to know the T-Birds Game schedule by June 2026. In the meantime, please refer to the below Season Calendar referencing Jamboree weekend starting on August 15th - 16th and Game Day weekends starting on weekend of August 22nd - 23rd. Thank you for your patience.

FAQ #2: How many Division I and II Home Game Days at Monte Vista can we expect in 2026?
In 2025, we hosted (4) D1 Home Game Days and (5) D2 Home Game Days. We cannot guarantee a specific amount of Home or Away games. Home games at Monte Vista depend heavily on field availability and partnering with the High School to minimize conflicts with other high school programs. Hosting Home games also heavily depends on our T-Bird Community to fill volunteer roles. Last season, we were fortunate to host (9) Home Game Days at Monte Vista. 

FAQ #3: Can we always expect D1 to play on Saturdays and D2 to play on Sundays?
Unfortunately, no. We understand that every weekend day is precious for each T-Bird family. We partner closely with Monte Vista, SRVUSD, and the EBYFC to maximize Saturday game days where possible. Because of our large organizational footprint, T-Birds can and will play D1 or D2 games on Saturdays OR Sundays in a given weekend.

    🏈 Monte Vista Cheer Clinic

    Come learn what one of the fastest growing female sports is all about! Our friends at Monte Vista Stunt are running a 2-day Cheer Clinic on April 13th and April 15th at Monte Vista High School. MV STUNT will be hosting its first annual Stang Youth STUNT Clinic. Clinics will be held on April 13th and 15th from 4:00pm-5:30pm. There will be a parent 101 session at 4pm on the 13th and a showcase on the 15th at 5:30pm. Last day to register is April 5th and space is limited. The Cheer Clinic price is $75.

    Big News: T-Birds will sponsor the first 50 Cheer Athletes who register (must have cheered with T-Birds in 2025). Please indicate that you cheered with T-Birds last season when you sign up i.e., "Your Name (T-Birds Cheer Athlete)".

    T-Bird Games will be played on Saturday OR Sunday every weekend from mid-August to early November. Please plan for either day each weekend as game times and field availability are subject to change.
