Happy Friday, T-Bird Families!

We wanted to extend a warm welcome to all the new T-Bird families who already signed up for the 2026 Football & Cheer season! We are truly excited for you to join the T-Bird family and FLY HIGH with us this season. Please find all past T-Bird newsletters on the News section of our website. 

We are also hearing a lot of great questions about our Football & Cheer programs. We will continue to add more FAQs and content to our Football Program section to help spread knowledge as they are asked.

🏈 📣 2026 T-Bird Parent Info Nights

T-Bird Parent Info Sessions will be held across two nights. The info nights will be held via video conference so that more families can attend. During these separate info nights, we will cover the 2026 season, what to expect, and answer questions specific to Football and Cheer. Our Video Conference has a max of 100 participants. If you're unable to join, please know the session will be recorded. We hope to see you there:



🚨 2026 Registration Early Bird Discount ends on April 1st (4 days)!

2026 T-Birds Registration is ALMOST FULL ACROSS ALL LEVELS. As an organization, we set Division capacities to better serve all T-Bird athletes with the right equipment, field space, and coaching support. While not a guarantee, please know we do our best to activate athletes from waitlists to Division rosters as registration positions open. As Football divisions hit capacity, we also encourage Football athletes to sign up for our T-Birds Conditioning Camp in May.

As of Friday, March 27th, our T-Bird registration Division capacity is as follows:



    🏈 Calling all T-Bird Football Coaches!

    We are looking for new Division II Football Head and Assistant Coaches for the 2026 season. This is a great opportunity to give back to the T-Birds program, coach your youth athlete, and fulfill your volunteer hours. If you're interested in learning more, please contact us directly.




    💪 Real Neal Jr. Elite Performance Program @ Blackhawk

    Our friends at Real Neal Sports host a weekly Jr. Elite Performance Program at Blackhawk Plaza in the CSA Gym. Coach Alonzo has been incredible with his performance training and works athletes to their full potential. For any T-Bird families looking for Elite Offseason Performance Training, we would highly recommend to connect with Coach Alonzo at Real Neal Sports. See the Real Neal Sports website to learn more.


    ✅ Action Needed: National Sports ID (NSID) Certification

    Registered Football & Cheer Athletes: If you registered for the 2026 season, you are required to be certified by June 30th, 2026 to participate this season. This means you must make an appointment with your physician to submit the medical clearance form and follow NSID instructions on our certification page. 

    On our Certification page, you must join the team link for your T-Bird athlete's specific team and certify them with the NSID process. Football athletes: Please join the age group you registered your child for even if you plan to have them try out for an Older/Lighter position later. The ✅ Green Checkmark will appear by your athlete's name once they are fully verified. NSID must be renewed every Football & Cheer season.

    Do not wait to complete this. Your athlete will not be issued equipment in July and will not be able to practice if their NSID is incomplete.

    🏈 Monte Vista Flag Football Coaching

    Our program is growing! Entering our 4th year as a CIF Varsity sport, we're looking for motivated Assistant Coaches to help our JV and Varsity athletes compete in the Bay Area's toughest league. This is a fast-evolving sport, and we need a staff that is ready to innovate and lead. If someone would like to hear more about our program, we want to talk to you.

    Schedule Note: Our typical window is Monday-Thursday afternoons/evenings, with 18 games and select weekend tournaments. Contact Coach Hewett - Monte Vista's High School Flag Football for more information.

    Below is a rough timeline for the 2026 Preseason activities. Expect dates and times to continue to evolve with field availability. Our T-Birds safety, practice, and participation policy is available here.

    T-Bird Games will be played on Saturday OR Sunday every weekend from mid-August to early November. Please plan for either day each weekend as game times and field availability are subject to change.
