Football Conditioning Camp Starts on May 19th!

Dear T-Bird Parents,

Today, Friday, May 16th is the last day to register for T-Birds Football Conditioning Camp #1! Camp #1 begins this Monday, May 19th. Register here: 2025 Football Conditioning Camp Registration

The Camps are perfect for all experience levels (ages 6-14). We've had a few questions about the differences between Camp #1 and Camp #2. Camp #1 will establish football conditioning rhythms and skill mechanics. For those athletes who also attend Camp #2, we will go deeper on skill positions (e.g., O/D-line, WRs, etc.). If your athlete can only make one camp, not to worry. We will ensure that each athlete is coached at their own pace to have a fun, positive Camp experience.

In case you missed our past emails, you can always find all T-Bird Parent info night, National Sports ID (NSID), and season information on the News section of our website.

Camp Preparation

  • Hydration: Ensure your athlete is hydrating throughout the day, both at school and at home.
  • Best practices: Hydration starts before you arrive at camp. Keep your athlete hydrated during the day and aim to drink 17–20 ounces of water two hours before camp. Additionally drink 8 ounces about 20 to 30 minutes before camp starts. During your athlete's workout, aim to drink another 8 ounces of water every 10 to 15 minutes.

What to bring

  • Shoes: Bring BOTH cleats and running shoes. Your athlete will use cleats for drills on the grass field and running shoes for conditioning with Real Neal Sports.
Attire: Wear a t-shirt and shorts. We will provide a T-Birds Camp shirt on the first night.
  • Water: 1 Gallon of Water

Coaches and Parents

  • Coaches: We will have roughly 10-15 T-Bird Coaches and multiple trainers from Real Neal Sports leading the Campers each night. Prospective Coaches, if you are interested in coaching this season and haven't already reached out, please send us an email. We would invite you to observe Camp each night and meet us afterwards to discuss Coaching roles.

🏈 Are you registered for the 2025 T-Birds Football Season?

We're seeing high demand for our T-Bird JV and Varsity Football programs. Whether you are a new or returning T-Bird athlete, please ensure you've signed up for the 2025 season. We expect to reach our JV and Varsity registration capacity in the next month before starting to waitlist. We expect Pee Wee registration to fill up by early June before waitlist. We expect Jr. Pee Wee to remain open through end June. If you would like your athlete's name on the back of their practice jerseys, please register by June 1st: 2025 Football Season Registration

👩🏻⚕️ Have you contacted your athlete's Physician to complete the medical clearance form for the 2025 season?

If your T-Bird athlete is not NSID-certified by June 30th (i.e., ✅ Green Checkmark appears by their name on the NSID website with 2026 Expiration), they will not be issued equipment during T-Birds Day (July 12th) and cannot practice. Do not wait to complete this.

New in 2025: We will not offer an onsite physician this season during T-Bird Day (July 12th). This is because our NSID certifications need to be complete by June 30th. This means you must make an appointment with your physician to submit the medical clearance form on our certification instructions

Season Bits

  • Player Helmets: During T-Birds Football registration, if you selected "I own my own helmet" (optional), your helmet must be up-to-date and certified with the T-Birds Athletic Director. If you haven't already done so, please send an email to srvtbirds@gmail.com with your athlete's name, year purchased, and a photo of your helmet's rear certification sticker. Player-owned helmets must be Navy in color.
  • Volunteer System: We heard your feedback last season. In 2025, we will be piloting a new volunteer system that allows T-Bird families to self-serve answers about their volunteer hours. The intent is to bring more transparency into tracked hours for season and game-level roles to minimize ambiguity at the end of the season.
